The unique Chamber Maid cleaning system
cleans side walls, while its bowl-scrapper
cleans coffee from the grinding area.
The Mr. Coffee grinder also comes with a

Customer Review
#1 "The Mr. Coffee IDS77 splits
up into three different pieces – the Press n’
Pour Wide Opening Lid with Integrated Spout,
the high quality grinding chamber enhanced with
the Exclusive Chamber Maid Cleaning System, and
the electronically configured base boasting
coffee amount and grind settings as well as
Built-In Cord Storage. Those classifications
capitalized were taken right off the package
for they were quite overly technical and above
all humorous. Let’s take a closer look at each
piece starting at the top, shall we?
In a coffee
grinder, it’s important to have a fancy lid for
easy evacuation of the coffee grounds after the
grinding process has completed. At first
glance, I can safely say that Mr. Coffee has
just about mastered the lid on the IDS77. It
can open completely with ease, and pour quick
and neatly with a built-in spout. With the
IDS77, you won’t have to worry about getting
grounds all over your kitchen
counter.
Moving on to the
more complicated grinding chamber, many
features of the IDS77 are included here. As
stated above, the IDS77 is indeed a blade
grinder, supporting a single bar with a
discreet blade on each end. No worries about a
finger slice for the blades are rather tame
(there’s your cue for a sigh of
relief).
The grinding
chamber also comes equipped with a cleaning
system… one of the features that I didn’t
realize existed till I studied the package.
After grinding, simply give the top a twist and
three plastic bars will circulate around the
grinding chamber walls to eliminate residue and
stubborn coffee grounds. Overall this feature
is only approximately 80% effective, but it
does help get slightly more coffee grounds out
of the grinding chamber.
As for the base
of the IDS77, things start to get fancy. At
first glance you’ll notice two LED light panels
that will light up according to which coffee
cup amount you wish to have as well as which
grind setting you would like..."

Customer Review #2 "I don't have any
complains with this grinder - it looks great,
works fine, and you cannot beat the price. I
don't use it every day, though... it's more
like once a week for that special cup of
coffee.
It's very easy to clean! The only minus is that
the cleaning system built in in the grinder
tends to waste about one teaspoon of coffee
every time, but you can always get it out with
a spoon. So far, I'm very satisfied with this
grinder!"

Customer Review #3 "Our small
office has used this grinder 2-3 times a day
for two years or so. We love it. It stops when
the grind is done, taking away any guesswork.
It is easy to clean. It has worked well the
whole time."

Customer Review #4 "This coffee grinder is good
for the money. I have had mine for about a year and haven't had
any major problems. The cord is very long (it is coiled under
the grinder), and does a good job grinding. The only problem,
like a reviewer mentioned before, it can be somewhat messy
trying to get the grounds out."

Customer Review #5 "This is a nice, inexpensive coffee
grinder. I usually drink one cup of coffee daily,
so this meets my needs very well. You can grind up
to 12 cups a time I believe. You can also select if
you want the coffee ground fine, medium, or coarse, which
the instructions explain what those settings are best
used for. It is easy to clean and always clean very
well in the dishwasher. I've had mine for about 1
year and haven't had any problems with it."
