Generally speaking, you will pour in the beans in a storage receptacle, set the timer for how long you wish to grind the beans, and remove the freshly ground coffee from a container on the bottom of the machine. It's that simple.
A burr mill coffee grinder will always produce a consistent grind, provided it is clean. You will need to clean these units after about every 4th time you use them. The burrs will get coffee stuck on them and need to be brushed off in order to continue working properly.
